Great Value for Condo Buyers in Port Coquitlam
I recently worked with a couple buyers who were interested in buying a home in Port Coquitlam and I was very impressed with both the quality of the homes and the price points in PoCo. Both of these clients were renting and looking for their first home. They both wanted a sustainable home and somewhere they could entertain and grown into and not have to move in a couple years.
The first home was a 2bed/2bath townhouse on Fraser Ave that my client purchased for $310,000. This home was 1060 square feet, came with 2 parking stalls and storage locker, had a beautiful, open kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances and was in a quiet neighbourhood down the road from a park.
The second home was a 2bed/2bath condo on Welcher Ave in downtown PoCo. This condo was 890 square feet with 9 foot ceilings, a large covered deck and a very generous sized living room. My clients were able to buy this condo for $292,600!
Both of these homes would have sold for at least $450,000 were they on the North Shore, Downtown Vancouver or even in some parts of Burnaby. If you are looking for a bit more space and do not mind the added commute I encourage you to take a look at Port Coquitlam and make an educated decision for yourself.
