Do I really need a home inspection on my Vancouver Condo?
No, you don't need to have your Vancouver condo inspected but why would you take the risk? An inspection will cost you $450-$550 a small price to pay when you are paying hundreds of thousands for your condo. At the very least the home inspector will give you piece of mind that you are not spending your life savings on a lemon and will give you a maintenance plan for your new home.

When you are looking for an inspector a few things you should look for:
- What are their credentials? Were they a builder before? Are they certified with CAHPI?
- What is your take away? What you want is a book or report outlining any potential upcoming expenses.
- Can this person talk to you in a way you can understand? In plain English, not builder speak.
