...great idea, in fact it would be foolish and irresponsible not to look and see what options are available to you when you are selling your home in Vancouver. However (in my humble opinion) it would also be foolish to choose a Realtor for the wrong reason. What are the wrong reasons? Glad you asked...
The three worst reasons to choose a Vancouver Realtor to market your home:
- They are cheap: Instead of looking at commission charged look instead for a Realtor who will put the most net proceeds in your pocket
- They promise you the highest sale price: If you interview 4 Realtors and three of them give you a listing price of $450,000-$500,000 and the fourth says $575,000 it may be a good is idea to double check their analysis of you home (and their math skills).
- They "Have Buyers" If they do truly have buyers that's great they can present their buyers offer when your home is listed with a listing agent-you do want independent representation don't you?
